Aqaba

Unusually located in Lower Parel’s business district, lies Aqaba, a casual dining restaurant, inspired by the quaint and picturesque coastal city in Jordan. This 9,000 sq. ft. restaurant, with an indoor, outdoor and garden seating space, provides a confluence of the style and cuisine of the Mediterranean, in the heart of the city.

 

OBJECTIVE

Post two QSR formats, Aqaba was the client’s first luxury initiative. Creative Co. came on board to establish the brand’s image in the right space, as well as to introduce and curate distinct concepts to enhance the brand.

 

STRATEGY

The primary focus the PR, Event and Social Media strategy was to position the restaurant as ‘relaxed luxury’, and bring in patrons to come and experience the space. While initially focus was on the food, phase two saw Creative Co. introducing concepts such as curated bar nights, exclusive guest list events, special menus and brand collaborations to further build the brand.

Creative Co. also developed unique properties that would enhance Aqaba’s USP, and bring out the best of the space. Each activity was amplified in the media to create further awareness.
