For over four decades, architect and designer, Pinakin Patel has set the benchmark in creating spaces and furniture that distinctly reflect his own unique sensibility. Using his interest in fashion and styling, Pinakin has, for the first time, launched his line of distinctive women’s wear whose genre can best be described by Pinakin’s own aesthetic of ‘India Modern’.
After investing a full year in learning this new discipline, Pinakin has produced his debut collection, ‘PINAKIN Occasion Wear’ – a distinct mélange of natural, effortless products of their own times, the collection conveys its sensibility more to the individual wearer, rather than the viewer.
Our agency was brought on board to assist with holistic brand strategy, ranging from marketing collaborations and tie ups, brand communication and design, strategic store introductions, public relations and more.
Creative Co. has been the brand representatives for PINAKIN’s other allied verticals for the past 3 years, and hence were the obvious choice when Pinakin decided to foray into fashion. The PR strategy focused on getting quality stories in key lifestyle publications, as well as engaging with leading celebrity stylists. For the launch, we partnered with key bloggers to help further the brand’s presence. Apart from PR, our agency introduced Pinakin to various retail and online stores to stock his merchandise, shot two look books, and opened doors for our client into Lakme Fashion Week.
Pinakin Patel’s stunning A Midsummer Night’s Dream SS16 collection was showcased as an ‘immersive experience’ with no ramp, or seating. Creative Co. also managed the event, guest and media coordination and backstage formalities. The show saw reputed media guests, page 3 regulars and celebrities in attendance.
