Farfetch

CLIENT  

Farfetch is a global online community of over 300 visionary fashion boutiques. Founded in 2008, with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, São Paulo and Porto, Farfetch showcases over 1000 labels and is dedicated to supporting independent fashion. The boutiques on Farfetch  have been carefully selected for their forward-thinking attitude, unique approach to merchandising and diversity of brands.

 

OBJECTIVE

To organize a event to celebrate Le Mill winning the Farfetch Superstore Award 2013. The event was held in Mumbai and Creative Co. worked in conjunction with the UK team to execute a concept that paid homage to Indian cultural elements, as well as the contemporary design approach of Farfetch.

 

STRATEGY

Hosted by Sonam Kapoor to ensure the right profile of attendees, the event was designed to introduce Farfetch to the Indian consumer. The center of the store saw a beautiful art installation, onto which videos were projected. Special bars & food stations were created from raw wooden planks, featuring cuisines from all over the world. The event was opened and closed by DJ Margot Bowman from the UK, with Up & Coming Sandunes (Bombay) playing the headlining set.
