The world renowned, French, luxury goods manufacturer Hermès opened its first flagship store in Mumbai, in July 2011.  Deemed to be one of the world’s most valuable luxury brands, Hermès has proven to transcend the luxury brand industry, while setting new trends and immortalizing their iconic products- perfumes, bags, scarves etc. It has continued to emphasize the value of hand craftsmanship and has continued to pay tribute to its rich history.



Creative Co. was approached to ideate and execute the press launch and the consumer launch events in July and October respectively.



The launch party hosted 800 guests to celebrate the arrival of the brand in Mumbai, themed ‘An Encounter between India & Paris’. Production included cleverly barricading off a portion of the road to create an outdoor seating area. Twenty foot large, Hermès inspired scarves hung from the pillars of the Asiatic library. Entertainment such as live performances by French horn blowers, ethnic Rajasthani singers and Opera singers were present in the store.
Creative Co. also contracted an independent artist to create ‘The Dream’ – a special installation for the event in tandem with the theme.

In addition to this, Creative Co. curated the visual merchandising of the store windows for a period of 6 months leading up to the launch event.
